    • 2008 Annual Muster has been scheduled for the first Saturday in June at the Conference building of the St. johns Episcopal Church in Richmond.
    • Compatriot Brigadier General Charles D. (Dan) McGuire has successfully managed to raise funds for the restoration of the gravesite of Gen. Charles Fenton Mercer in Union cemetery in Leesburg, VA.
    • Members are encouraged to participate in joining the Society color guard.

  4. Annual Muster Rules and Etiquette
    1. As a Patriotic Society we will show loyalty to God and Country.
    2. We will not do anything that will bring dishonor on ourselves or our Society.
    3. We will not discuss politics or religion at our musters.
    4. It is your obligation to attend all Annual Musters.
    5. Compatriots should always wear a coat and Society tie to show respect for our Honorable Society.
    6. Every Compatriot should wear the rosette of our Society on the left lapel of his coat.
    7. We will not interrupt any speaker at our meetings or have a casual conversation between members.
    8. Muster manners require each Compatriot to rise to his feet and address the chair before speaking.
    9. We are to be men of benevolence and charity.
    10. As a fellow of our Old and Honorable Society we should do honor to those ancestors who won the War of 1812.
